John has held leadership positions in the private and public sector, applying interdisciplinary, “maverick,” leadership skills to engage, inform, and optimize every organization into recognized best practices. “Always ahead of his time,” a VP noted.

John has held positions as Executive Vice President of Riten Industries, Inc., president of Fayette County EMS, and as Miami Trace K-12 Director of Federal Programs and Campus Safety, where he implemented the region’s first school safety plans. 

He recently co-authored “On Leadership: An Interdisciplinary Approach,” an insightful capstone chapter detailing leadership attributes which crossover to any endeavor. Soon to be published is “Theories, Styles and Approaches in Education,” a case study on the transformation of a failing school into an Ohio Governor’s Award recipient during John’s tenure as its building principal.
