For the past 23 years, in October, The Columbus Chapter of ASIS has honored Central Ohio Law Enforcement and Security Professionals with our Officer Appreciation Luncheon. At this event we recognize law enforcement agencies, private security organizations and personnel for their excellence in service. This event also helps facilitate increased networking and cooperation between the public and private sectors.
This year we have renamed this event The Mike York Annual Officer Appreciation Luncheon in honor of member Mike York who passed away shortly after last year’s luncheon. Mike spent over 40 years in private security and law enforcement positions and was a member of the Columbus Chapter for 41 years.
The 24th annual Mike York Officer Appreciation Luncheon will be held on October 16, 2025, at the Scioto Country Club, 2196 Riverside Drive, Columbus, OH. Registration will begin at 11:00 AM and the luncheon will begin at 12:00 PM.
